Seriously. Check this out. The man makes good movies, but he's got problems.

Yeah, that volleyball scene is the #2 most unintentionally gay moment in cinema.

So, what is the most unintentionally gay moment?

There are moments in 300 that rank high there too.

I used to go to the video store where Tarantino worked before he started making films. It was the best store I've ever seen, and he was great to talk to when looking for videos.

I always thought his problem was that he likes EVERYTHING. Still, he's my favorite writer of dialogue. Some of his stuff is simply great.

The #1 unintentionally gay scene is the beach training scene from rocky 4 (I think it's 4.) Rocky and apollo are running together, in slomo, wearing tiny little shorts and apollo has a belly shirt on. When they finish they, still in slomo, lovingly embrace and jump up and down in each other's arms.

The #3 has got to be somewhere in 300, possibly the entire movie.

That's in Rocky III RLY, where he fights Clubber Lane. Apollo dies at the beginning of Rocky IV.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

That was rocky 3. and yup its was a bit gay. BTW It was rocky who wore the belly T shirt.

300 made me want to do a few sit ups, but that was it. Mind you if I was going to war I'd be in combat fatigues, or a Crysis armour suit...preferably the latter for obvious reasons

damn you hoosier, you pipped me to the post
souls are for wimps

I knew it was three or four. I haven't watched the series recently.

We're all odd ducks. The difference is that Tarantino is in the public eye, which is kind of like living with a microscope trained on him 24-7. Any one of us would seem as freakish, given the money & time to indulge our whims & obsessions.

I feel safe saying that while I admit I am a strange person, Tarantino is much more strange.
