Let me guess, you like them overpowered so much they can't lose, clad in red yellow and blue spandex? :D

it has to be DC

DC gave us DC/Vertigo which produced Transmetropolitan, Preacher, The Invisibles and of course Hellblazer (filmed as Constantine)

Marvels full of americans in silly costumes

In the 1970s, I would have said Marvel, hands down. DC was, for the most part, pretty tired.

But in the past 15 years, DC has kicked some serious ass, so I've switched my allegiance.

Spiderman, Spiderman, friendly neighbourhood Spiderman... Last week I watched Ode to a Superhero by Weird Al Yankowitz and all the memories of my childhood with the Amazing Spiderman comic-books came into my mind and almost real tears into my eyes... And I love Wolverine, of course, who doesn/t? Batman comics in DC were always too freaky for me, and I thought Superman was kinda boring..sorry.

I voted marvel but honestly I enjoy much of the Vertigo offerings a lot. Nothing in the DC hero universe has really drawn me in since Morrison on the JLA, the 90's Suicide Squad or KnightFall. I also don't much care for Diddio and find Quesada much more compelling.

DC - specifically Batman & JLA. It just seems Marvel has become more of a 'teen thing', not that there's anything wrong w/ that... Posted Image
