Good luck, I made a spectacular 1st round exit.

But now I surely have made 36 points from one player. It looks like my 24 point gamble has paid handsomely already.

EDIT: Fuming, Gerrard could have got his hat-trick but he was taken off...what the hell! 46 points would have been undeniably good.

Im in trouble this week.

Liverpool get 4 and Kuyt plays not a hand in one of them?! A bad omen to be sure. Plus, Defoe's been dropped, which means in comes Armand Traore. Woot woot, roll on the points.

What and What!?! I have both those players. Horrid game
"I think i was a bad person before. Before this time. I do not try to be good now but i am not bad. Perhaps if i try harder i may get a better hand dealt next time? But surely that makes it pointless? Perhaps i am good. Just good at being pointless. But that would make me bad. Bad at having a point. Ah…. I see now. I was nothing before, I am nothing now. I am bad purely because im pointless. "

I have no idea what's going on. I'm after jumping from 8th up to 2nd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And that's despite not really knowing what the hell I'm doing. Still holding off on that wild card though for after the inevitable transfer merry-go-round in jan.

Not impressed...with the prediction league I was going total up the points I had predicted for each team to see how accurate my predictions were, and as a bit of random intrigue, but the bloody results only go back to week 16...

Well done to everyone who's crossed over into the 1000's. I'm a LONG way off of that. The 24 point hit wouldn't have helped too much ;)

Bad week for me this week ;). Dumped out of the cup, unfortunately, with a grand total of 33. I've got rid of Ronaldo and put Gerrard in instead, only to remember that he's probably going to be in jail or something for next week's game...*sigh*.

Bad week for me this week ;). Dumped out of the cup, unfortunately, with a grand total of 33.

So, I decided to play my wildcard...dropped Cisse, Laursen, Ronaldo, Zayatte and Miller for Berbatov, Lescott, Lampard, Barnett and Cresswell.

Perhaps I should have held onto Ronaldo given that he's playing in two games this week, but he has hit a slump and I wanted him out of there. Plus I have a feeling Berbatov is going to play well for me. I'm also hoping that Valencia will produce more than Fletcher...we'll see.

I like how I'm inexorably climbing the table to my rightful position of 1st. HA!

May be worth loosing a few points this week in transfers to get some more man u or Wigan players up in there. hmmmm.

DONT COPY ME!

Well, it seems Vidic as captain was an inspired decision :(.

I knew it would be worth the gamble of Van Der Sar as captain and dropping Bosingwa to the bench :( Hoping he repeats the performance on Wednesday, but Vidic breaks a nail or something and can't play...

Does anyone know what's gonna happen with the cancelled matches re points?

The players that didn't play because of it go down as not playing a match that gameweek, and then the match gets replayed in a later gameweek, I think.

Correct.

I'm annoyed that Tottenham conceded a late goal.

Ah ok, at least that means I'll get Barry's points, despite idiotically leaving him on the bench due to alleged injury.

You're annoyed? :(

Right, I am faced with a minor dilemma for the coming week - I need to select two of the following midfielders:

Valencia (Away against Man City)
Geovanni (Home against Arsenal)
Dempsey (Away against West Ham)

My gut instinct tells me to bench Geovanni, but then again Hull did have great success against Arsenal at the Emirates earlier in the season. Normally I'd have said Dempsey, but he and Fulham have been playing incredibly well recently. I suppose the other option is to pick one of Lescott and Carragher to drop and playing all three midfield men...Decisions, Decisions.
