You can't leave Kallor off this list. The guy's been around for ever and never been taken down. He's only being discounted because he's not likeable and he's not one of the heroes of the series. Kallor versus Karsa or Kallor versus Dassem would be a damned interesting event.
And how would Caladan Brood do in a scrap? Hard to say, because we've never had that much about him in the series, but in TtH he sent Spite and Envy running just by turning up.

We can leave him off the list of the top 5 - he took all night to defeat Rake's stand-in man. Admittedly, Spinnock is a pretty amazing swordsman, but I don't think he's quite up there. Same goes for Kallor.

Yep, I would agree with this list.
Dassem is incredibly good and Skinner was the only Avowed ever to walk away from a fight with him. Heck, probably the ONLY opponent who has ever survived an encounter with Dassem.
