It could be worse. I think the Packers will regret letting favre get away.

Uh oh, Favre is already complaining of arm fatigue. That could be bad.

Pack are going to be happy with their decision in the long run. I think even with a healthy arm Favre will throw as many picks as he does touchdowns this year.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Especially since he doesn't know the playbook or have timing down with the receivers.

Exactly why. Plus, he's not as into this year (from my perspective, and from others as well).

You jumping off the Favre bandwagon RLY? If he's not on your fantasy team I'll be deeply hurt after all the Favre love you've been spittin in this thread.

So last night I was walking downtown for some pizza at like 1am with some friends of mine,
and someone said, "I'm so hungry I could eat a whole pizza."

I said, "I bet I could eat 100 pizzas," and no one understood me. I was sad.

I don't play fantasy, or I'd draft him. I am and always will be a huge fan of favre, and consider him one of the greatest ever. That doesn't mean that I can't be aware of his limitations though. This will not be a MVP year for him.

I'm eager to see how Brett does in his first pre-season game. Normally I'd rather watch paint dry than pre-season football...but Brett the Jet's debut will be something to see.

That's it? 6 passes? 5/6 and a TD...good work, but I would have liked to see a little more.

He working through arm fatigue right now, and I bet when he got sacked the entire Jets organization was holding their breath. Good outing for Bert Fever, he looked good.

The NY media has already turned on Favre. He's been getting lambasted for his stupid mistakes all week. 7 INTs to 3 TDs in his last 3 games...

There's no unconditional love in the Big Apple, Favre-y boy

They all seem to forget that the jets are 2-1 in that stretch. No that I think his interception total is acceptable, but everyone has already forgotten the 6 TD game. And I think that he's also leading the league, or close to it, for td passes.

Besides, was anyone seriously expecting him to come to NY and NOT throw picks like he was getting paid to? It's what he does.

He's done. He's not getting surgery to repair the torn biceps tendon. Game over man.

I'm glad he came back for one more year. Things got a little ugly and dramatic at times, but not all of that was his fault. I think if it wasn't for that injury, he would have gotten the Jets to the playoffs. We got one more year to see one of the greatest ever, even if he was past his prime.

I think he would have been much better off without all the ugliness that was last off-season. Not bad though, he managed to crush two teams hopes in two years.

Yeah, turning the reigns over to a successor who had been groomed for several years with one team, then going to another and taking them from 4-12 to 9-7, only missing the playoffs because he played the last 4 games with a torn bicep tendon. He sure did crush them.

Don't even try and tell me the Packers fans weren't crushed when he left, and yes he did well last season BUT HE'S LEAVING. So yes, he's crushing two teams.
