Filler so if someone mouses over they see nothing.
Filler

1) Rake is gone.(Not that crazy)
2) Hood has at the very least abdicated his seat in HHDeath. He is going to be some sort of god of justice, due to his final act before Rake went all guillotine on him.
3) The undead army spilling out of Dragnipur is going to be somewhere near Paran, and he is going to be in command of them eventually.
4) Paran is on the Letherii continent, somewhere.
5) Either Paran or Tavore is going to die before the end of tCG.

Now a question. Someone said that an undead soletaken andii who can control the hounds of shadow is on the CG's side. I assume that info is from RotCG? Confirm/Deny that this is Tulas Shorn for me? Thanks.

And another question. What is Fisher really? Been alive for over 100 years, looks mid-twenties, powerfull enough to have a dalliance with Envy...

It's an Edur but aye is Shorn. Who is he again, sure read of him elsewhere? Cant think though. It's in TTH not ROTCG

Tulas Shorn is the guy who escapes from Hoods realm when Quell and Gruntle go in via Quells rent and I'm pretty sure it was implied in TtH that he'd simply switched to the CGs side.

I know who Shorn is. I was just unaware that he was on the CG's side.

I was the one who mentioned that, and it is from Toll the Hounds. We never see Tulas shorn before toll. Kallor clearly states that Tulas Shorn is on the side of the CG. Re-read that section.

Also, Fisher does not look mid twenties. Isn't he described as looking pretty old?

yeah I think so, and grey haired.

re: tulas shorn's name...Shorn seems an unlikely second name for an edur to be given when you consider the act of shorning in edur society, if it was possibly an assumed name based on having been shorn then there might be a logical reason to switch allegiance to the CG.

Grey-eyed is Fisher.

I have yet to see/find anything about him being grey-haired.

He was talking to Duiker, the historian looked into his grey eyes, then tears flowed down the historians weathered face.... Let me keep looking.

Phart, that is a Mafia Alt. Certain mods get ARC's of the books, since they are personal friends of SE. It was created by Hetan I believe.

Well is he not described in the prologue as being grey haired (and gaunt)?

The way he dealt with krafar implies ascendancy to me.

My own favourite crazy theory is that Treach is being set up to become the next Lord of Death. It would explain why Gruntle is suddenly getting the power to command the dead. Unless it's Gruntle himself that takes over ...

As for Tulas Shorn. Page 576

Quote

And [Kallor] would wonder, with growing unease, at the dead Eleint who, upon escaping the realm of Death, would now choose the Crippled God as its new master.

Avoid being seen as racist by saying, "I'm not a racist, but ..." prior to making a racist comment.

Tulas Shorn helped take out the hounds, so possibly the Crippled God was also scared at the implications of the Hounds of Lights master have Draginpur.

Kind o Crazy theory: The crippled God will try to take over the Realm of Shadow via Tulas Shorn.

'What had that grey-haired bard sung'
'figure approaching, grey-haired, gaunt.'

Both describe Fisher right in the begining.
From the prologue.
He is also constantly described as old.

Can someone else find the list of powerful Edur? It mentioned Scabby, Tulas Shorn and a few others, and I'm pretty sure it was during one of whatshisface second-oldest-Andii's recollections. I'm beginning to regret lending TTH to my brother now (he's not back til Friday) so I can't do it myself.

As for Fisher, he's either an Elder God, a god of bards, or (really out there) a rogue Tanno Spiritwalker.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

And the Tanno Spiritwalker's came from the nameless ones. And he is hooking up with Spite's sister Envy.

Fisher has some flippant remark when someone asks him if there is a god of bards... but I am at work and I can't just flip through the book right now.

Also, Nimander is soletaken. He was wondering where Silanah went, and someone told him he could 'awaken tiams blood inside him' and find out... do all dragon's/soletaken know where the others are when they are in dragon-form?

Either investigating whatever of SD he can reach, or just flying around looking for her.

Incidentally, I completely forgive Nimander being a whiny little bitch in RG now.

Why?

Because he was leader of those freak-jobs?
Because he is now in charge of the Andii's?

No, because he ascended from whiny little bitch to tolerable whiny little badass.

And his storyline had Mother Dark slap Kallor off a cart.

Kallor seems kind of cool.

If he had healed Whats-his-face at the end after their all night battle, he would have been a little bitch. But Kallor seems pretty freakin badass at this point... I wonder what would happen if he picked up Grief/Vengeance...
