Its been bothering me for dome time - what are the origins of the Azath?
My theory is that the Azath are Ascended acendants that have moved onto a higher plain and act as guardians for the relems in the form of Barriers of control against powers that are destroying/upsetting the fabric of reality. This would explain the Azath having a presence of mind.
