TMDI 10 game. It shall have roles used previously by yours truly, and hopefully I am able to balance everything very well like the last game I ran. No discernable town/killer factions and wierd, intricate, unheardof roles.

A game I'd like to see.

Beer vs Bacon.

The Baconites(a smaller group of fanatic Zealots, a small community who know each other well))

The Drunks(a larger, but, due to the beer loving, less co-ordinated team. Even if they once knew who each other were, they've probably forgotten by now.)

The setting is a bar. Recently people have been dying. They know the killer is in there. The doors are locked. The only hint as to the killer is a piece of bacon found on the victims.

Possible roles:

Drivers(Drunk team)-Due to the fact that he is meant to be driving the rest home later on, he is the only member of the team to be sober, and therefore can remember who has mentioned in the past that they like bacon. Lover-Finder role.

Brawler(Drunk team)-Loud mouth, consumes large amounts of beer a day. Takes offence easily. Vig role.

The butchers(Baconites): A complete zealot. Strikes from the shadow One nk per night. Can talk off thread. Two/three of them. Paired killers. If one dies the other can still kill.

Bacon-lover(Baconites): Symp. Shows up drunk if investigated.

Barman(Drunk)-Wants to avoid damage to his premises. As the barman his first care is for his customers. Healer or guard role.

Alcoholics: Regular customers. Roleless innos.

I think this thing should be settled once and for all.

Id like help wth advice on balace(which roles, how many of them etc)

The chances of this being run are slim. But the argument must be decided.

bacon will own you. Since, if you assign bacon-lovers as drunks, they'll do their best to sabotage their own team.
Mafia is NOT a place to solve philosophical feuds.
Personal feuds--yes, all the time.
But deep philosophical questions of beer v. bacon.... Mafia's powerless there.

I have an idea for a Ghostbusters-themed game... but I'm really not around enough to mod it myself.

So anyone interested in working on the balance with me and taking the brunt of the modding work (I'll do my best!), give me a shout and we can work on it I'm thinking relatively high on the TMDI scale, maybe 6 or so. Not a cult game, but fairly free-form.

Ok, me and Venge are working on the balance.. should be fairly high on the TMDI but we'll let you know.

Can I put a placeholder in for the next available game? (it must be... what? Game 30 or so. There's a few "X" in the first post, hope we don't have to wait until after all of them ). We may (read: probably will) need an extra hand modding, as I'm a workaholic and Venge is an alcoholic. Or has exams, whichever.
