I play five-a-side football but only at a friendly level. I've had some good times doing so. In fact all things going right I'll have a game arranged for next weekend. It's just difficult considering many of the usual players are still at University.

My best five-a-side (hour) record is sixteen goals scored. I don't think I'll break that again. The defence would need to be seriously shoddy to beat that total.

I can't wait to play again.

What is your side like? Do you play outdoors or indoors?

were an indoor team currently competing for the wooden spoon in the bottom league ;) (go go Bayern Munken! - dont ask :D)

that said we never have a full fit squad,
1: we have two lads out at the moment with fractured kneecaps! i cant even begin to think how much that would hurt :p
2: ive got dodgy hands (and a broken finger at the moment)
3: another lad is just broken (we call him the £6.34 man! we can rebuild him! we have the technology)
4: my best mate's knee's ligaments are playing up
5: were unfit
6: we only just realised we supposed to score at the other end

yeah... maybe we should just quit :D if it wasnt so much damn fun!

Used to do lots of sport. Captained school field hockey team. Competed at regional athletics finals. Now I just play football with my friends in the park on Sunday afternoon.
Flying Monkeys definitely win.

Since coming to uni I've taken up Squash and Ultimate Frisbee, both of which I really enjoy. Used to play some basketball when I was at school (our team won the Scottish National Championships, no thanks to me) but was never very good as I don't really have the height or shot to be useful.

Also play some cricket when I get the chance. Since coming to uni - Top score: 28, best bowling figures 2-13. Nothing much to boast about really, but then I always end up batting right at the end of the innings when we need to be scoring at 10 an over and getting run out. The time I got 28, it was because we were short on players so I had to open.

Sir Thursday
Don't look now, but I think there's something weird attached to the bottom of my posts.

So some will have seen the shot before (I'm in blue) but here is what I do for sport:

Rugby League, I was captain of University of Manchester a few years ago, I now play for Scunthorpe.

I play Union in the winter, when I can be bothered and 5 a side footy twice a week all year and go to circuit training. I'm still pretty fat though, god knows what I'd look like if I didn't do as much.

I used to play 5-a-side up until I was about 15, when I was still vaguely active. Dislocating my hip playing rugby put paid to all of that though, and I've never got back to it. I was in a pretty average team, we always ended up somwhere in the middle, though we did come runners up in a cup competition once, heheh.

You went to TASC (appart from the fact that it is a pretend university) I once went on tour with the TASC womens rugby league team and they were hot and filthy as hell...happy days.

Also rugby league does not involved nudity;it involves running into huge grim eyed northern men and then drinking flat warm bitter before doing a 25 hour shift at the steelworks/mine.
