It's been a while since I started a new thread and I'm pretty chuffed with this pic so what the hell, anyway heres Hedge and Fidd with AK-47 variation medieval crossbow and hands full of sharpers, probably grinnin' cuz they just caused the mayhem in the background

I also done another Karsa pic ticking off the sword info until I just read it and found out it was supposed to be symmetrical, but I got alot closer this time eh?

Only complaint about the top one is Hedge looks too pretty, and is missing his sticky-out ears; other that, it's great. Karsa and his sword look exactly like I imagined them, and Malaz Island looks brilliant. You're an awesome artist.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

I think Karsa's sword is perfect.

Hedge and Fid are pretty good too, but like Illy mentioned, he needs giant stuck out elephant ears.

Other than that those to are great, and the Malaz island is really amazing too.

That's one of the best Karsa pics I've seen. Is he bald though? I'm due for a reread, so it's very possible I just forot that. Sweet though, the sword is especially nice, and his face tattoo is one of the better jobs I've seen.

The Hedge and Fid one tells a thousand words indeed. But I think it could be summed up with a simple, "Its Miller Time" caption. A few other beer ad slogans come to mind as well.

@RLY i believe the only mention of hair that karsa ever gets is his top knotted braid

aye I think it's the only part of his hair (if he has any more) that get's mentioned, but I think baldness suits the tatts better and I'll get crackin' with another pic of Hedge with the ears and possibly without the leather cap,get some more baldness on the go innit!

I think it says that he has a lone braid, but does that mean bald, or just one single braid in stead of several ones?

And isn't Hedge supposed to be somewhat balding?

Other than that, Excellent work Onrack!

He's not naturally balding, but he's lost a lot of from being too close to moranth munitions too often. Which is why he always wears a leather cap to hide his singed hair/features.

You guys do see the long-arse braid going down his chest, right? Works with the barbarian appearance, and allows him to show off the shattered-glass escaped slave tattoo.

I would say it works just fine.

To be honest, I missed the braid at first. Having now noticed it, I am thoroughly pleased with this piece.

Karsa's sword is perfect! Very nice work as always. Well done Onrack ;)
The leader, his audience still,
considered their scholarly will.
He lowered his head
and with anguish he said,
"But how will we teach them to kill?"

Incredibly good pieces!
My only problems are that Hedge isn;t ugly enough, Karsa had white bear fur not brown (I think), and...wel no that's it. everything else is perfect! I especially liked Karsa's sword I think it has finally been depicted as perfectly as could be! ;)

Very nice again Onrack. Much reppage deserved.:D

Karsa's much improved, as is his sword, if only because we can see him from the front again. I still think your first Karsa kicks all 'Karsa wannabe' ass though! http://www.malazanempire.com/forums/album....=6&pictureid=51

Mock's Hold should be on the edge of the cliff leading straight down to the sea according to the BH map. Good pic though. They all are, as per usual.

Two questions; Which Malaz magazine is Fiddler posing for? And who coiffed his hair? ;)
