Now I may have gad a skinful, but even I can tell that was as crooked as horse racing.

Russia's entry was shit, make no bones about it. Poor musical taste is not even a valid excuse, as Ukraine and Armenia both fielded better songs with hot, scantily clad ladies.

All in all, I have been saddenned by this farce. Although the music was highly enjoyable, as was my shite costume. Pics to follow. ;)

Yes, I've been promised photos of a veritable bonfire-like BBQ, so it had better not dissapoint ;)

It was a particularly awful eurovision, with a hi hi hoo and a hi hi hee.

Well, there you have it. At least Ireland had the good sense to call it like it is, and sent an actual turkey (o.k. a puppet of one, but you get my drift).

I can't wait to see how we're going to try and top that for next year.

@ TT - with regard to your Eurovision event, as has oft been stated

Horrible, as always. The only thing that comforts me is that our chaps sang on croatian. It's not that mind english, only the fact that everyone thinks they can reproduce authentic accent, even though they fail miserably far too often.
Kif: Sir, remember your course correction?
Captain Zapp: No.
Kif: Well, it's proving somewhat more suicidal than we'd initially hoped.

It was rubbish. The only bright sparks were Finland and Turkey (oh, and the amusing high ptiched angels from Azerbaijan or somewhere.)
Pure rubbish all around. And Russia was one of the worst! Not as bad as Spain, certainly but probably second from bottom in my estimation... The rest of them were pretty horrible, cheesy and plain bizarre, just like one should expect in Eurovision.

I loved it. ;)

You say that but, it's been recently revealed that General Franco himself once rigged Eurovision to make sure Spain would win. This was in the year that Cliff Richard came second with 'Celebration', so maybe we should all be thankful he did!
