Karsa Orlong vs. Onos T'oolan (living)

So, this is just a little fun post thing I have going here...
So, in a one on one, fair fight, who do you think would win? On one side, we have Tool, the First Sword of the T'lan Imass. When he was undead, he was ALMOST able to defeat Mok, the Seguleh Third. He was also able to fight his way through an army of undead K'Chain Che'Malle, and reach Toc the Younger in time to save him :heyhey:. On the other side, we have Karsa Orlong, a pure blood Thelomen Tartheno Toblakai, who is a warren unto himself, has an unbreakable flint sword (like Tool) almost as tall as he is, he is the Knight of High House of Chains, he killed Rhulad Sengar, two Deragoth and a K'Chain Nah'Ruk :folken:. My money is on Karsa. What are your opinions? Cheers:D:p
P.S. Sorry if this is already done, I don't feel like reading a bajillion posts.

*cough* *cough*... I HATE THESE THREADS! ... *cough*
My money is on Karsa simply because of size, speed and skill. Has Tool gotten a whole new mentality that sets him apart from his weary self in MoI? perhaps, but Karsa's will is unbreakable. If he wont let himself be taken down by a KCCM or a Deragoth... Tool wont stop him.
He'd probably just let tool stab him through and through and then rip his head off. Then laugh at his intestines falling out, push them back in, wait five minutes for his healingfactor to kick in and stop the bloodloss. Then make sweet love to Hetan.

SPOILER ANSWER, SORT OF LOOK AWAY
Well, if it was Karsa who killed Toc, then I'd vote Tool. But as he hasn't....
If it was a close battle, and Karsa just won, then Hetan would probably get him from behind.

Why are you spoilering an event that happened in the book the forum is dedicated to?

Extra caution maybe? Sorta like those weird people who wear 2 condoms for safety.
Karsa, clearly. Superior weapon, strength, reach. Speed's the crucial issue, but I'm fairly confident that Karsa is just as quick as Tool now, seeing as it's constantly referred to.
Plus his ability to do the unpredictable i.e not fight honourably (stamping hard to mess up the Seguleh 11ths moves, for example) might catch Tool out.
And if all else fails, swing really hard. No-one's gonna block that.

I aim to surprise.
I wouldn't have thought so, from what we know of Imass, only Bonecasters have that power, and Tool isnt one.

Karsa would win this one reasonably easily from what we've seen in recent books. We've yet to see Karsa have an equal post HoC.

Actually, Tool has a lot of weird powers in GotM, there might be some fringe benefits with the position of First Sword of Empire.

The ability to unveil the Warren of Garlic, perhaps?
I take it you mean fringe benefits in GotM- I admit I cant remember what those might be, but asI havent seen him use them since, could they not be just a GotMism?

It stops tattersail going to darjhustan in GotM doesn't it?

to adress Kimloc's point--it was pretty obvious that that wasn't meant to be. raging Icarium would've anhihilated half the continent, and there were too many important characters there to allow for that kind of overkill.

Karsa because of his unorthodox fighting and advantages of speed, strength, and ferocity.

a big time dodge of the bullet on this one. taralack veed was pissing his pants.
do you think if icarium kills a bunch of people like a million strong first empire city he becomes completely unstoppable, cuz he like chops stone pillars into pieces there and he just gets bigger and bigger and... oh shit
There's a fine line between genius and insanity. I have erased this line.

almost as tall as he is
I don't know where you got the idea that Tool is tall. Actually the Imass were quite short and even if Tool is tall by their standards I doubt he's anywhere in the 7 foot pure blood Toblakai range.
So that pretty much answers the question of who has greater reach.
My vote goes to Kasra.
