Rare snowfalls struck Buenos Aires, Cape Town and Sydney during their mid-year winter

Excuse me? It certainly did not fucking snow here or anywhere near here. Ever.

LOL. Like that article does anything to prove that "climate change" or "global warming" is a myth....ridiculous. People are continually trying to fight the obvious. Makes me realize what Galileo and those other "radicals" went through when they promoted their "heresy".

A conference organised by a think tank so far to the right that they don't even acknowledge second hand smoke is bad for you. I'd be more likely to believe an article put out by Exxon (also a Heartland sponsor).

I've noticed that Exxon money and Phillip Morris money are often given to the same people/organizations...which is interesting, because the two companies have nothing in common besides a motive for undermining science...

That and the total dedication to EVIL.

But seriously....these "non-believers" are just making themselves look stupider and stupider. While they argue the ice melts, the seas rise, and we inch closer and closer to global catastrophes/food shortages etc

Surely the fact that we have record setting temperatures on a constant basis is just coincidence, right? Right?

Its not just the temperature change. It's the crazy weather.

Climate change is any long-term significant change in the “average weather” that a given region experiences. Average weather may include average temperature, precipitation and wind patterns. It involves changes in the variability or average state of the atmosphere over durations ranging from decades to millions of years. These changes can be caused by dynamic process on Earth, external forces including variations in sunlight intensity, and more recently by human activities.

Well, I imagine the heavy breathing might kick up the CO2 just a tad...which is why we should all have sex near trees.

And blow inter...never mind. Cheap shot. Only a few high-ranking republicans have been caught in inappropriate manluv with interns.

to rerail the thread, it's almost July and we've had about 5 total hot days so far. I hate the heat so don't mind, but it's odd. Every year, the seasons shift more and more.

When it's a married man in a position of power with an underage intern, then it is. Not because it's manluv, because it's luv in general.

people throw words like evil and such way too frequently these days. microsoft is evil, bush/rummy/etc is evil, big oil is evil, etc etc.

stalin was an evil megalomaniac. murdering millions of his own people and torturing them directly and indirectly. hitler was an evil megalomaniac. believing his race was superior to all others and exterminating and torturing millions of jews among others.

exxon and microsoft just want to make money. bush is a war hawk of sorts, but isnt doing anything particularly evil. etc

using a word like evil to classify big business or a politician you dont agree with is unfair to them and it lightens the impact of history. its a product of emotional, sensationalist youth who don't care about what they say as long as it makes it stand out. sad really
