after finishing the book recently for the first time and checking the Tor articles and a lot of Threads here in this forum there is still one thing that bugs me and that I didn't see mentioned by anyone.
There is this scene in Chapter 13 with Rallick on the roof after Krute tried to assasinate the Legate:

I somehow thought he was talking about Barathol, because he helped with the silver connection thingies. But maybe it was Spindle or Duiker.
But afair Rallick never ever acted on this clue. Or did I miss something?
The whole rest of the book I was waiting for Rallick to approach K'ruls Bar. (Which was also funny, that he didn't even know there was a bar in K'ruls temple)
