Malazan Empire: Mappo - Malazan Empire

So how highly do you regard Mappo's fighting ability?

In his final battle he completely gets his ass handed to him, but he was pretty much on his last legs anyway, I reckon -who's a terrible fighter? Felisin? E.B Farnum from Deadwood?- could have killed him easily by then.
While he may not have won against such a powerful Forkrul Assail, he definitely would have put up a much better fight.
Any thoughts?

I think the main purpose of this thread is just some Mappo appreciation . Carry on.

Tho I admit that in the finale of DG at Tremolor, massive shapeshifter convergence, Hounds eating everything, the humans basically running for their lives, and Mappo spent the whole time restraining Icarium... some little part of my brain was screaming LET HIM GO AND BREAK OUT THE KCHAIN THIGHBONE CLUB AND GET IN THERE DAMMIT.
