My first thought was that Morn is Father Light
Why should I infect them with my rage?

As much as I wish it could be Rake, the evidence all points to Draconus. It is a sending because Draconus is focused elsewhere (Kolanse, etc.) The description is definitely not Rake. Also the appearance of Draconus to Envy near the end would be completely random if Draconus didn't show up in other parts of the book. I think the purpose of that scene may have been just to provide one more clue.

While Wu is certainly a world where death is hardly ever definite, I think Anomander may be the one person we may have to just accept as gone.

Another element is that Moon's Spawn was always tightly linked to KG, and ultimately at the end of the segment with Antsy and the sorcerors we see there was a gate through Darkness there the whole time.

We saw in TCG that sometimes echoes of gods can exist even without their conscious effort. Draconus being, among other things, aspected to Darkness, it makes sense that he might manifest an 'echo' like we saw in RCG in a place so connected to that aspect.

Drac being as powerful as he is, it's possible he may not have even actively created Morn so much as Morn just manifested as a side efect of Drac returning to the world, or back when Dragnipur was starting to 'leak'.

I thought it was Rake. So is Rake like dead dead, or dead could come back dead?

His soul was scatttered through Kurald Galain. Possibly at the feet of Mother Dark. His sacrifice was ultimate. He was already killed and his soul trapped in Dragnipur. His final act was final.

Until he comes back.
Theorizing that one could poop within his own lifetime, Doctor Poopet led an elite group of scientists into the desert to develop a top secret project, known as QUANTUM POOP. Pressured to prove his theories or lose funding, Doctor Poopet, prematurely stepped into the Poop Accelerator and vanished. He awoke to find himself in the past, suffering from partial amnesia and facing a mirror image that was not his own. Fortunately, contact with his own bowels was made through brainwave transmissions, with Al the Poop Observer, who appeared in the form of a hologram that only Doctor Poopet could see and hear. Trapped in the past, Doctor Poopet finds himself pooping from life to life, pooping things right, that once went wrong and hoping each time, that his next poop will be the poop home.

That applies to more or less anyone on the series tho. Rake's situation may be sufficiently unique that it can't happen, esp given the enormity of what he did, but we don't really know that until we do, so to speak.

While I think Morn is Draconus I dont think you can use the way he looks as a deciding factor in saying he is not Rake. With what happened to Rake in TtH he would quite possibly be very much changed. What effect might what he did have on him, both physically and mentally/emotionally. Perhaps the blood of Tiam has been excised. Granted Im a huge Rake fan and hope he is still there in some way shape or form. Most of the things used against this being Rake could be explained by a soul enmeshed with the essence of Dark which is roughly what happened if Im understanding it correctly.

The conversation with Envy basically convinced me that Morn is Draconus, or at least an aspect of Draconus.
Laseen did nothing wrong.

I demand Telorast & Curdle plushies.

Draconus isn't really Tiste though is he? Hes an Elder God. I always assumed he just liked living with them for the time being, whats 10,000 years compared to an eternal life?
