Yeah I think that it looks like Loki's scepter is one...which I hadn't expected...so they only need to debut two more now.
The sixth gem traditionally goes outside the lower thumb knuckle...so perhaps we just can't see it (there appears to be a dude's head in the way of where it would sit)?

But the existing gems are all present above the fingers (if we include the green soul gem which I'm guessing is the next one dealt with in probably STRANGE?)

So if that's to be believed we only need Time and Soul to be revealed now, I'm prepared to stake a guess that Soul will be Strange or GotG 2 and Time will be GotG 2 or Captain Marvel. Honestly though Loki's sceptre as a gem really doesn't make any sense, especially considering it is the Soul Gem that allows the user to control other people :/

Are we 100% certain that Captain America: Civil War will be a version of the Civil War plotline from the comics?

Rather like Ragnarok, it *could* just be a name they decided to go with because it sounds impressive.

(though i've a suspicion Ragnarok will actually see Asgard getting levelled by Thanos to set up his bad assedness before Infinity War)

Hopefully not the comic Civil War, because the comic Civil War was a clusterfuck of stupid unworkable contradictory retconning bad plot, characterisation and dialogue. Plus it's hard to have a civil war when each side's going to have single digit ranks.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

^ pretty much what i'm thinking - Civil War when there are only about 10 or so superheroes kicking about is pretty lacklustre

Yeah I am assuming they will have to make some radical changes to the comic version of the story, to support the dramatically reduced scale we have in the MCU as compared to the comics. I'm quite certain it will have some connection to the comics storyline of the same name, however. I'm actually less certain about Ragnarok, which could simply be a cool viking name lol

In the Civil War comic line, Ragnarok was the name of the clone of Thor (who was dead then) that was mindless and accidentally killed a superhero (with the subtle title of Black Goliath), except he wasn't cloned by a supervillain but instead by Reed Richards and ordered into battle by Tony Stark, both on the pro-registration side. They also ran an interdimensional prison where anti-reg heroes were imprisoned without trial, and also forced criminals to fight for them with nanotech. This was while they were claiming both sides were equally right and wrong.

You really don't want a comic Civil War movie.

Marvel Cards were a wonderful wonderful money pit and they should do another series just for kicks.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

I know there was definitely Ragnarok storyline in the comics in the traditionally sense (and definitely alluded to more than once). All the gods of Asgard fighting in the last battle. One around the time Avengers Dissemble was happening I believe. So I assume they're building off that and not the Thor Clone. Hopefully.

Well, Thor was dead because Ragnarok happened. He got better. Comics!

Also, Civil War was the event in which Peter Parker revealed he was Spiderman, to persuade heroes to register and to show that nothing bad would happen if people knew your real identity, upon which his aunt May was immediately shot by a sniper aiming for Peter and he then sold his marriage to the devil* to heal her, which retroactively removed all memory of his real identity from the world. This was done because the guy in charge of Marvel felt people couldn't identify with a successful professional in a happy marriage, so made him a sad single man living in his aunt's house like it was back when the boss was a kid. Civil War is a bad story and lead to bad things.

*I'm seriously not joking about this, the Marvel devil is called Mephisto and through him Spiderman literally swapped his entire marriage, the decades of joy and fulfillment, in order to give his aunt another few years of life before she died of natural causes rather than bullet causes. (this is after her ghost had explicitly told him that she was happy in Heaven and that he should move on) CIVIL WAR IS BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD

I actually didn't mind the ideas around the Civil War, as I've spent far to much time wondering about the legal ramifications for individuals who are basically walk mass weapons of destruction (personally I think the USA would treat such individuals as a continuation of the 2nd Amendment), but the execution was horrendous. Tony Stark and Reed Richards decided to become authoritarian scienocratics who kill super heroes and clone gods without their permission (though the fallout of that was awesome). One side was obviously not right despite what every writer at Marvel at the time said, and I feel like that took a lot of the fun out it.

I think if they kept as the story Bendis originally wrote which was a simple Shield vs Superhero story it would have been fine.

I really think the CIVIL WAR movie is merely going to illusttrate the line that is drawn between registration (Cap) and Non-registration (Iron Man) and the sides that are subsequently drawn up...and the fight that happens on the other side of that. It would be madness to do the whole real full CIVIL WAR storyline...but I'd be excited to see Cap VS Tony.

Yeah when I said it would have some connection to the comics Civil War, I meant exactly what QuickTidal says here, it would be utterly insane to try to flesh out the full Civil War story on film, especially right smack bang in the middle of the Infinity War angle they have been building for years at this point.

I'm less certain that the Ragnarok film will have anything to do with the comics, however. It really could just be them using what is an undeniably cool and undeniably Norse word as a hook for the film.

I also agree with the people who have pointed out that one side (pro-reg) in the Civil War story were CLEARLY in the wrong, because there simply isn't a logical argument to the contrary. It really annoyed me as well, because Iron Man is a billion times cooler than Cap :unworthy:

Well, y'know, he didn't actually die, he just kinda....faded away? So he didn't actually have to "get better" He, as I understood the story, just had to decide to come back which he chose to do only with a little nudging from Blake.
Screw you all, and have a nice day!

I guess the Winter soldier and Hydra (the original Serpant title thingie?) will continue to feature in Civil War. So it may not be like the comics.
Maybe the Shield "Civil War" in the wake of the Hydra reveal will be what the film is somewhat about. Aftermath maybe. Or maybe its an outcome to what will happen in Age of Ultron and the seeds of the "Civil War" are laid there.

Or maybe Thanos mind controls people to fight each other. Though I would find that a letdown myself

Nah, they're covering that in Agents of Shield.

Quite well I should add.
