Is there any reason to spend a weekend in Indiana?

If it’s Southwest Indiana, yes, then we can grab a beer.

Indiana dunes national park is pretty awesome.

Indy can be cool.

Northern Indiana, just keep going to Chicago.

Southern Indiana, keep going to Louisville.

What if its smack dab in the middle central indiana as in indianapolis

Grabbing a drink would be awesome if at all possible. Im in the area 12-18

Maaaaybe. About a 4 hour drive and work is insane right now. But I’ll see.

The eclipse was pretty frigging awesome.
I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.

Got all the parts now, including smaller bits like sata cables and extra ethernet
Checked the case, and seems it's got all the necessary bits.

Should be good to build it when I go back on Sat.

Also, got a new bike, got dental work done, and finally getting a haircut tomorrow, so I'm gonna lose the "grey old man" look.

The only things left to do this week are to upgrade my grandpa's PC (got the RAM and new storage drive already), and try to nail down a time to get some drinks with friends.

Life got nuts for a while there, probably the last 6 month so I took time away from everything to get myself back on track.

Probably worst bipolar depression I had for 6 years leading up to Christmas which lasted 3 month, I was coming out of that then I broke my leg and dislocated my ankle.

Then my ex step-mother died, then my best mates dad died, after that another close mates mam died all within the space of 2 weeks.

My friend from work was diagnosed with terminal cancer and my dad is in and out of hospital with an unknown illness where he just keeps collapsing...

So aye, it was all a bit too much but now I feel like I am coming out the otherside of it now and life again feels on the up.

That's so much. I'm glad it's not continuing to roll in like a wave of bad news.

Here's to a wave of good!

Dude that is brutal. Glad you're coming out the other side!

For me I had a check up and my hard work with eating and exercise etc means my diabetes levels have dropped quite significantly and I don't need to go on any meds. Makes it all worth it!

Thank you all. Honestly it got to the point where every call or message I got I felt sick, I was just expecting something else to have happened... you cannot live like that.

But ultimately it's made me a better person, there was a lot of life lessons in such a short space of time.

My garden is strong this year with all this weird Arizona weather. Just hit 90.for the first time a couple days ago. Amazingly cool weather to this point. Got all these veggies growing well.

Cleaned my garage did a purge of junk I don't need.

And I established a small rare succulent garden during covid and it's thriving.. very fun! Gardening as a obsession has really grown these last five years.

Landed a new Killian eng my favorite artist (maybe Esao Andrews tough call).

Always though his art would represent Malazan well
