I thought it was last night, but it seems not... this is officially turning into the worlds longest turn... I want resolution! Two of the people attacking me are absent so it can't be all bad, I may live to fight another day!

My heartfelt apologies. Mafia was pretty intense and made me forget all other obligations I had.
I'll autoresolve since there's only 1 retreatoption for both the German Army and the Italian Fleet. Since I'm off from work at 12.30 my time, you'll see it up in 3 hours or so.
All oki with a monday night deadline?

Fine by me. There shouldn't be any problems at my end until December from now...

Don't look now, but I think there's something weird attached to the bottom of my posts.

why is TT going to Kazakhstan?
also, a noobish question: wouldn't it have been better for whomever plays England to consolidate by taking over all of the island provinces?
how long does an army have to occuly a province before it becomes "yours"?

I know exactly why tt is going to kazakstan, unfortunately for him it won't work...
Which island provinces were you thinking of, exactly, for england to go to?
To gain a territory, you have to be in it at the end of the autumn turn. So at most you need to stay stationary in it for one turn.

For the "island provinces", I think Mentalist means the rest of UK and Iceland.
In that case, the answer is that only the provinces with a dot (Supply point) on them count and can become yours, since the number of such provinces you have determine how many armies you can have. The rest is just for moving around.

Not to mention that the nameless islands (cyprus, crete, sicily, corsica, sardinia, tenerife etc.) can't be occupied.

thanks, JA, that was what I meant.
huh, didn't see the dots on the provinces (obviously), now it makes more sense.
I think I'd be interested in playing this.

Well, it's not a demanding game (except for the inbox limits ), so if you need players for the second game I'm in too.

I suggested we start the game having played it many times with the actual board game and on another site. I think it was MAcros that was keen too, but it took a while to get started up, Im fdelighted it's caught on now, gives me a way to occupy my boredom filled hours.
And dont you worry about me moving to KAZ, it'll all become soon clear...

He wanted to watch the football, but then realised too late it was at Wembley this weekend
Don't think you'll need more players, but if you do, I can make up another player for a new diplomacy game if necessary... though I may regret volunteering if you take me up on that and I get insanely confused...
