3:25 Am, not 5:25. The last week of school was last week, so I am currently job hunting. Translation: unemployed atm.

Oh, and I have a life, but at 3:30 there's not too many people still up. Not much to do. Insomnia's a bitch.

Seattle is pacific time zone. I believe the time stamps show what time it is posted according to your time zone, not the zone of the poster.

thank you for agreeing with me...?
i don't like Yahoo, they use these catchy titles and then when you read the article you feel cheated.
this on was called:
'player hurt in pillow accident'
Detroit Tigers' Brandon Inge is on the disabled list after a freak injury involving a pillow.
and then, heres the actual article: http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/blog/big_leagu...r?urn=mlb,90675
about whether or not to require spoilers in the website information forum: i think its fair to say that we've all read through RG. i haven't read any books not in the main series but spoilers don't really bother me. so, if you guys want to have to post certain materials in spoilers, speak up now or forever hold your feace.
[edit] why would Seattle be called the 'emerald city'?

Because it rains so much that there's a lot of greenery. A lot.
edit: from wiki: "Seattle's current official nickname is the "Emerald City", the result of a contest held in the early 1980s;[8] the reference is to the lush evergreen trees in the surrounding area"

I am going to throw my two cents in here on this topic cause I seem to have a completely differing view than everyone else. I was always struck that the series was a historical document that was unearthed and published for us to read it, of course not in the literal sense. So in that way I agree with a few of you, but I think the 'fallen' part must be taken in context. "A Tale of the Malazan Book of the Fallen" to me denotes that the author is paying tribute to those who fell in the campaigns of war that the empire waged. This is done by denoting exactly what happened during the campains. I have yet to catch up to where the series is, so I don't know for sure - but I would hazard to guess that the person leading the empire commissioned the story to be stitched together the way we read them today.
Of course, it could have been named such as "A tale of the Malazan Empire" would have been a lie, cause its many tales and - "A Tale of the Malazan Book" would have begged the question of 'which book?'. And lastly, I guess they could have called it "A Tale of the Malazan Book of the People who died for nothing" ...and i thought the series title was long already...
