well fuck me. I could've sworn I sent that pm in before I left for England on saturday.. I was pretty damn hung over, but still ..
Now, is there truly any chance of anything other than a stalemate now? Victory on our side, at least within the next several years seems to have gone the way of my alcohol levels. I wouldn't contest a tie here, though that may be in part because I feel so embarassed about the last couple of weeks

aye any chance of us taking the centre are gone. in an alcopop haze
given last round, i think its up to mac and slick to decide if they could take us or if they cant. i put it to mac a few years ago game time that we were stalemated, so if he agrees i fancy trying this colonial setup

I agree, we're pretty much stalemated.

"pseudoscience and superstition will seem year by year more tempting, the siren song of unreason more sonorous and attractive. Where have we heard it before? Whenever our ethnic or national prejudices are aroused, in times of scarcity, during challenges to national self-esteem or nerve, when we agonize about our diminished cosmic place and purpose, or when fanaticism is bubbling up around us – then, habits of thought familiar from ages past reach for the controls. The candle flame gutters. Its little pool of light trembles. Darkness gathers. The demons begin to stir." - Carl Sagan

I'll agree to a stalemate,
if you all admit I played marvelously and cunningly contacted sweedish people to get morgy drunk and therefore force this turn of events.

I can accept that ..
Thankfully, I'm now done with all exams and only have an 8-16 job throughout the summer, so much time for diploming againg. Colonial strikes me as a cool map

If I come back, I'll be willing to play. Question is, will you all hates me?

Was well played, no doubt Once two powerful blocs develop though, unfortunately stale-mate is the most common result
