Next major character to kick the bucket?

I'm new here, so cut me a bit of slack if this has been discussed already.
I'm wondering who everyone thinks is next to die/disappear
I personally think Karsa has done his dash.
Thoughts?

Any reasoning behind that blasphemy?

So last night I was walking downtown for some pizza at like 1am with some friends of mine,
and someone said, "I'm so hungry I could eat a whole pizza."
I said, "I bet I could eat 100 pizzas," and no one understood me. I was sad.

I certainly don't think its Karsa for very good unspecified reasons!
I'm going with Kallor.
I'm going with Kallor.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

I hope its Kallor, i still hate him over WJ's death.
but I doubt it, SE has said that Kallor is one of his favorite characters.

I can see it being a bridgeburner, Fiddler or QB perhaps.
Tehol may go, and get Bugg heavily pissed off.

Bugg won't let Tehol go.
Kallor will survive it all.
Karsa still has much to do.
I'll set SE's house on fire if he kills Fiddler
I say Kalam will make a sacrifice to save the BBs... but will go down in style.

That would be fun, he comes back just to go down again...
I don't think it'll be Karsa or Kallor because I don't think they'll feature in the next novel...
Been a while since we had a major military personnel tragedy (not since Dujek, maybe, but that wasn't even a novel-climax one), so I'll go with Keneb or Gesler.

I say Shadowthrone or Cotillon goes down. Nobody pulls off the stuff they're trying to do with zero repercussions.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

Ooooh, this soon though? If we're talking 'next up' then I think it'll have to be someone (more) minor. Maybe Apsalar will go down for Cutter...or the other way around. There can't possibly be a happy ending in there.

I thought about saying Gesler or Stormy...
Listen, it's not going to be Karsa. K?
And Cots and ST better not bite it until the last book. Cots would be the one more likely to die though, I think.

I don't think Aps or Cutter will feature in DoD, Aps stuck around in Malaz City after tBH and Cutter was potentially headed back in that general direction with Spite post-TtH. I'm thinking we won't see them again til it all goes to hell in tCG and we revisit Quon Tali...

I second that notion. I'll bring the kerosene.
I hate to say it, but QB looks a likely candidate...mind you, he's a BB so he'd probably just come back.
What about Fener, maybe Ges and Stormy will find him, get mad and kill him. Dunno how but...

I don't see QB dying anytime soon. I could imagine Cotellion saving ST so he can continue their scheming and finish their diabolical plan.

Shadowthrone I reckon, and Cotillion will be the one to do him in. I sense a distance growing between them and Cotillion's ambitions don't necessarily match Shadowthrone's

Personally, I reckon The Rope would take Shadowthrone, but lets not start a Dassem v Rake style argument.

Maybe, but that would be an entirely different sort of book...
Toc's always a good bet! QB has been taking more and more risks, maybe he'll go too far some time soon.
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

It's gonna be some kind of ascendant I would have thought. Probably Fener or maybe Trake.

I'm actually waiting to see all BB's die, I'm still confused over that whole ritual thing Fid brought over them, I kinda feel like something will happen to the BBs once they're all dead... perhaps some weird reincarnation of all again?
Could be that I just missed the whole ritual working already though (or found it too weak compared to the amount of words that have been spent on it)
Other than that I believe Tay will have it coming too... if not in DoD, then it is in the CG. He just won't be able to stand along the side all the time... he'll be forced to interfere, and he'll struck us all with awe, but in the end, he'll be dead as a lifeless carrot.

Tay isn't standing on the side any more. Hes stuck in a rent or dead. We don't know for sure.

I reakon that once al the BB's die, they'll ascend to become Gods and challenge for the title of GODs OF WAR, 'Move Over Puppies' will be the name of the book
Dem bones, Dem Bones, Dem Dry Bones.
