No we created this forum just to fool you, and you fell for it!

Or maybe there is.

Erikson has announced that his next big Malazan Projects are going to be a trilogy centered on the Andii and a trilogy centered on the Toblakai.

What exactly will be the focus of the stories are uncertain, but a guess would be that both of them will mix present day events with the Elder Times.

I was under the impression that the Andii trilogy will tell the story of how Mother Dark left her children and that the Toblakai trilogy would continue Karsa's tale... but maybe thats just what i want to think Posted Image

That's what I heard as well. But three books on each topic makes room for a whole lot of story.

I could easily imagine the Kharkanas books being about the Shake settling in KG and rediscovering the past of the Andii. Sandalath telling campfire stories about the good old days, Nimander trying to find out what happened to his father, graphic sex scenes of Rake shagging Tiam, etc.

Likewise I could imagine the Toblakai books being about Karsa returning to reunite the Teblor and fighting some trumped up enemy. Maybe a real enemy for the Malazan Empire to fear. All the while Karsa along with some wise old Shoulderman or what ever is rediscovering his Toblakai past, with stories of how the Toblakai rose and fell. Obviously we want the scoop on Icariums involvement and why there's a stair case up a mountain side made out of Imass bones.

And of course there would be graphic sex senes of Karsa splitting various people....
