¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

Wife and I watched Red Notice on Netflix.

Pretty predictable, but Ryan Reynolds and the Rock rule so it was still enjoyable.

Watched the movie Troll Hunter. I believe the movie came out about a decade ago? I sorta remember at that time it generated a little bit of a buzz and acquired some degree of a cult following among the indie movie mindset. I really enjoyed it. Initially I was not into it being one of those shaky cam, lost documentary / found footage films (as that genre is played out and overdone), but the movie ends up being a lot of fun. I would describe it as Monty Python meets Blair Witch.

Once Upon a Time in the West quite possibly can be described as a perfect Western. They don't make them like that anymore. Hell, I don't think today's rewired brains and short attention spans can even appreciate the utter brilliance and nuanced performances the film presents.

I'm absolutely a Once Upon a Time in the West fan boy.

The Good, The Bad, and The Weird is a very, very good Western too.

I'm also partial to Hell or High Water and 3:10 to Yuma. The Proposition ended up being a tad grim for me, yet is excellent.

I fuckin hated Shane though. That kid is the worst.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

Heh, my mum named me after that film. Probably explains a lot.

I was hooked on Once Upon a Time in the West after the beginning train sequence. So damn well done and awesome.

It’s time for a classic western rewatch over the holidays.

Watched Fatman last night.
Surprisingly fun in places, a bit long for what it was.

Halfway through Don't Look Up.

Paused to make more cocktails.

I'm not sure if laughing or crying is the right reaction.

Pause to make more cocktails and post on social media may be the ultimate response.

See you in the afterlife, fellow humans.

Of all the Matrix movies.... this is definitely one of them!

I was entertained (that bar is very low though, friends lol). It did some things well. It did some things bad. It did some things that make me shake my head and wonder what the fuck they were on.... but it was at least entertaining.

6 out of 10
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....
