Yup, Tombstone is amazing. I love the Unforgiven, a Fistful of Dollars as well. But the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly is still #1 for me. Have not seen Once Upon a Time in the West. Haven't even heard of Rio Bravo before either.

@DD - Is your sig from Dazed and Confused?

I too wish to see Mr. Stone's latest work. I'm cautiously excited but seeing as how "Troy" was such a disappointment, I'm wary of how vaguely historically accurate or entertaining it will be. I must admit, I'm looking forward most to seeing Val Kilmer play Philip. Kilmer is a great actor. Posted Image

I'd be first in line for tickets if they put Venom in the next Spiderman flick.
And so the First denied their Mother,
in their fury, and so were cast out,
doomed children of Mother Dark.

Think how boring films would be if they made everything accurate. it would be insane, people would do stuff like run out of ammo in gun fights Posted Image

Ringu (Japanese movie on which the Ring is based) joins the ranks of Blair Witch Project as one of the most overrated horror movies of all time. At least it could've been entertaining.

Here's some I recently watched:

A Bridge Too Far - about Operation Market Garden in WWII. If you like WWII/military history, it's for you. If not, you'll probably be bored. Stars Sean Connery, Anthony Hopkins, Robert Redford, Maximilian Schell, and about a thousand other big names in small parts.

Bunny Lake Is Missing - Laurence Olivier (coincidentally, also in A Bridge Too Far) is a Scotland Yard detective called in to find a little girl who's gone missing. Except she may never have existed in the first place. Very creepy. Also stars Noel Coward - who knew he acted in movies???

As for current big-screen releases, saw The Day After Tomorrow and enjoyed it.

Oh, and stop the presses! I caught Jersey Girl at the discount theater - A BEN AFFLECK MOVIE I ACTUALLY ENJOYED!!!! Posted Image
OK, I think I got it, but just in case, can you say the whole thing over again? I wasn't really listening.

I'm just a big fan of Michael Douglas full stop. In fact it's become a tradition in our house to guess at one time in the movie he is gonna get screwed (sometimes literally. . . )over by some woman (cough, cough) Typecast Posted Image.

Saw team america.

It was pretty funny but the humor was sometimes too cheap even for my vulgar self...

And they passed up making fun of bush and went for the screen actors guild instead? Duh...

Could have been a lot better if you ask me...

Hero was very aesthetic but a bit too surreal and pompous for me to really enjoy it...

Just saw the butterfly effect, last night. I thought it was graet especially because it didn't have a tragic or "arty" ending to it. I recommend all to see it. One of or the best film I have seen this year Posted Image.
