Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

In case you were wondering, the "1" after your name is denoting your first "entry". You get 10, although you will only get to use 1 in my league. If you want, you can fill out 10 different brackets and put them in random public leagues or whatever.

Also, I'm going to enjoy guessing names now!

You mean our RL names? I noticed it had first initial and last name after our screen name. I'll give you a hint...my first name isn't Norm :)

As soon as the brackets come out, which will be ~5:00 pm. est on Sunday, we'll be able to begin choosing winners. From what I read, it's a simple drag and click operation, here.

I'm guessing Nicole, Chris, and Greg, respectively for first names.

I will be there to make my winning selections! This is going to be fun! I can just imagine all the trash talking that'll be going down in the trickster!

Oh and my first name isn't Nicole...

OK, I think I'm signed up. Just let me know when I can pick my teams....

What does the winner get besides a warm inner glow? Anything?

I don't really mind whether or not there is a prize. But, I would be game I imagine.

I'm up for it, I think we should have a small prize of some sort. Any suggestions?

But how do we arrange that? And, for just the book or the S & H as well?

I would be up for paying for a pre-order of Dust of Dreams for the winner, it should be the book plus S&H. We just need to figure out how to go about collecting the money. Hoosier if it's out of your budget I'll cover your portion of the money.

I just took a look on chapters.ca the price is actually not bad $20.42 for the hardcover, $18.95 for the TPB, plus the S&H. That wouldn't add up to very much per person...

Right, I imagine we'll get ~10 players. All the work gets done in about 10 minutes, and then it's just cheering on your bracket picks! :) Then finding out how to organize it...

I imagine, FLY & Bubba will get in, and I bet we could drag in a couple other random Americans or Canadians.

I'm sure we'll get a few more people, even if we don't we're up to what 5 people now? So that would make $5.00 per person, obvisously if we can get ten it would be half that amount. If we can't figure out some way to collect the money from everyone I'll just order the book and donate it as the prize. Trust me it's no big deal, I spend more money than that every week on my Stabucks addiction. Sound good to everyone?
