Kruppe shoulf have whie frilly cuffs, that are shabby & food-stained. His belly should be bigger. His lips fuller and redder.

Great pic. Thats how I imagine their skin color to be: '...somewhere between grey and green" Reminds me of Raest ...much prettier though.

Great portraits of Quick Ben and Kalam... like Kalam esspecially. Would love to see a portrait of Coltaine (Deadhouse Gates). As the book says: ...weathered lean face, thin wide mouth, dark deep set eyes, oiled braids, crow feather fetishes etc any one know where there is a pic?

As far as I understand it this is Baruk drawn by the author... wow it's great to see the characters as the author imagines them... glad to be part of this site... only on my second but dead house gates is the best, much faster tha Gardens.

Thanks Puck! I really appreciate the comment! I actually tried to make him look like he was grimacing but you are right! He still looks too nice! I picture Dujek and Whiskeyjack with a bit more meat on their bones.

I am totally new to this site, so I didn't realize there was an art forum! I had posted the picture in the Toll the Hounds section since Kallor was a big part of that book. Maybe I will post it to the art forum too!

He looks way too nice, more like an old nice man rather than a villain, which he - let's face it - is. But there's quite fix image of how Kallor should look an these forums, and I think the drawing itself is pretty cool I'd rename it Duiker or Dujek

Btw, you'd get more responses on this, if you'd post it in the Fantasy Art subforum, people seldom look into the gallery.
