Korbolo Dom Just finished the book, one question...

So i only have one real question now that i finished the book

this Korbolo Dom nonsense of being the master of talons?

is that just some title he gave himself, or did cotillion give him that title?

or did he take over the talons after cotiillions death?

or does he have nothing to do with the talons and the assassins he had were his own creation and he just named them talons?

A few of those might be the case. But I'd say the farther away you are from Cotillion's consent, the closer you are to the most likely truth.

Cotillion claims roughty in the middle of HoC to have no knowledge of the Talons still existing.

Indeed, Cots thought all the Talons were gone. When he learns of Hawl's survival on Drift Avali, he suddenly realises that he must have taught the Talons to hide so well that they could even hide from him after he ascended.

Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.
