Throwing up a thread so we can talk about it without heading into the AoS topic all the time.

I was going to throw up a spoiler warning so we can talk about it without constant boxes, but I'm not sure how many people are 100% up to speed so I'll leave off for now and put up with the boxes...

Anyway I loved the third episode. Some really good scenes in there- loved the bit
Spoiler

I can't carry it for you, but I can carry you.

Waitress is Alex from Nikita. Most definitely not going to be purely a waitress for long.

Is Agent Carter getting a UK release date?

I may be a bit behind on this one.
Trust me, I'm a doctor.

Just watched this ep.

The shooter is a woman. And blonde.

I'm thinking the same, I'm also thinking that it'll be the very same woman identified as the blonde in the dress from the club.
Screw you all, and have a nice day!

3 ep was fairly standard/boring...except the ending was really, really solid.

And yeah, the shooter is TOTALLY that blonde woman who moved into the empty apartment in the women's apartment block.

I enjoyed last night's episode - Peggy's rage at Stark was so real, I thought it was very well played by Atwell. And it looks like the blonde is, in fact, some sort of spy or villain or whatever. I was pretty surprised when the guy with the repeating pistol was killed off so quickly. Gonna be interesting to see where that goes!

Looks like the Howling Commandos are going to be getting back together next week, that should make for good TV! :)

It was good. They should have had the shoe shine customer ask for the funny pages though.

I think they are overplaying the Stan Card. It breaks me out of the show/movie now every time. Maybe have it be a bit more subtle. If anyone has seen Big Hero 6 you will notice that in the rich kids house Stan lee is in one of the paintings. That it.

You (like me) missed the after-credits scene then, Cause.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

Fixed for accuracy.

Anyway, some nice developments in the most recent episode.

Loved this series. Watched the last four episodes over the weekend and they had me gripped from start to finish. Really, really hope they get the green light to make more.

I'm trying and trying but...

Ep 1 was ok, ep 2 took me forever and ultimately ran as background while i did other stuff.... ep 3 i'm finding it hard to bother.
I like all things Marvel but i am finding this really hard to get into.

Help me out here, does this become stellar or have i seen what there is to see and it's just not working for me?

Yeah, if you don't like it by that stage then there's something wrong with you it's probably not going to be your tastes.

I think you might benefit from time off and coming back to this. It's quite good in a way that you usually like (going by earlier taste in movies/shows).

You are not alone. I initially liked it, but both the wife and I cooled WAY off on it, and didn't even finish it. It was not working for us even at like ep4....it was mostly ho-hum. Love the Carter character (and Jarvis), but everything else in this was tepid.

Definitely part of it. The plots were just so utterly by the numbers yawn.

I found it similarly dull. Since I knew the season was a short one, I powered through it.

I quite enjoyed it. Possibly because the short season kept everything tight.
