Hey everyone, we've just been managed to get ourselves a pub in london (chiswick specifically) called The Duke of York! My parents have been in the trade before but it will be my first time, so I'm VERY excited. Its a wet lead pub though we will eventually be doing small amounts of food to keep people drinking :)

I just thought I'd let you know so those of you in the area (or come visit) can pop by, and if anyone ever needs a place to stay in London we have spare rooms going for the grand cost of free! So malazans around the world have no excuse Posted Image

Enough words. we move in between the 10th and 17th of september and here it is

What is a 'wet lead pub'?

Also, just remember Chavvy, you can't be your pubs biggest customer and still be successful :)

Wet lead means its predominately drinks revenue based, with some food possibly.

Well yeah, it will probably just start as one evening a week but planing on getting it up to 3 or 4 live music nights. :)

I just popped in to say I'll be in London for a week, starting tomorrow and to ask for tips on pubs, and here you are...! I dunno if we'll be in those parts but if we find ourselves nearby we'll be sure to stop by for a beer :) congrats btw!
