Sadly this has not premiered in teh UK yet :thumbsup:/>

But i saw the trailer while waitng for Dexter to air again and it does look good. Having only caught the briefest of trailers, could you let me know what the gen eral story line is? No spoilers though haha

Also Briar you watching Dexter?

I liked this thread better when it was just Briar talking to himself...

That said, I just watched and enjoyed the first episode and will definitely keep watching this. Thanks for talking it up, which was helpful, because you also reminded me that Dexter was back.

Just watched the trailer. I will most definitely watching this.

I have just finished banshee and enjoyed that so and this looks like it has some similarities so im happy haha.

Onto Dexter though, did anyone else think wtf for the first half of the show then think holy f*** (in a good way) at the end when it showed the preview for episode 2?

Why does the UK have to be a week behind I need to avoid spoilers everywhere.

Watched the first episode yesterday. It's very silly and has the potential to go disastrously wrong, but for now it's a lot of fun, aided by great lead characters. Having seen him in several films and now this, I'm still not sure if Liev Schreiber can actually act much, but boy does he have screen presence.

I didn't know they aired on anything BUT Showtime.

We don't have Showtime (as far as I know, and if we do it's a minority channel with no real market share).

Sky Atlantic is the channel that most often carries American Cable TV in the UK nowadays (including being an official HBO partner and therefore getting all of their programming that didn't already have deals when it launched), but it didn't exist when Dexter started, or even when, for some baffling reason, ITV (which isn't a subscription channel - our TV is different.) dropped Dexter after season 3.

I have just finished the first episode.I am really liking it already.

Only thing confusing me is Ezra. Obv its only episode one so they are not going to give it all away but he doesnt seem enirely there.

Im hoping that this is going to keep me happy for a few seasons as it shows promise.

I guess it got deleted, good.

Anyway, saw the third episode. I'm still enjoying it, but not quite as much as BK is. I'm with polishgenius in that I'm not actually sure if Liev Schrieber is a good actor or not. He certainly has presence, but is that enough? So far, yes.

well ill be re-watching episode 1 tonight, on my TV as opposed to my phone this time.

Glad your still enjoying it BK. I've only seen Leiv in a couple things namely X-men and Wolverine (so not much) i agree with what you guys are saying about having a huge stage presence without saying a word, and i beleive that may be what makes him good for this role, as its one that he could probably get away with saying very very little in and still pull it off.

Defiance was a good movie he was in, with Daniel Craig.

I like Ray Donavan. I feel it should somehow be better, but I still like it.

This weeks epi is one of favs. Poor Conor with that family. Everyone acted so good in this one. It was directed by Liev himself in you can tell. That was great.

Ya, the episode was great. Probably my favorite too.

Kind of an interesting start to the season. Basically just a lot of set up for the season, showing where all the characters currently are...
