Nobody at Disney is a worse filmmaker than George Lucas post-Return of the Jedi. This has nowhere to go, but upwards.

I quit all things Star Wars after the prequel trilogy came out, however, I have heard from numerous people that Genndy Tartakovsky's Clone Wars was a pretty good TV show.

I'm a Tartakovsky fan, to the point where I saw Hotel Transylvania because I want him to have more movie chances in the future (and finish Samurai Jack). But I swore to never buy, read or watch a Star Wars thing again. That is one oath I've stuck with over the years and I made it because George Lucas is a deranged buffoon.

Now that he's not in control of the franchise anymore, I actually might soften my oath.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

Set between FotJ and Legacy or post Legacy is the only way the EU will survive this. Unless the guy writing the script is a freaking James Luceno who can integrate stuff without problem and have his epic story without steping all over the current stories.

Disney seems to be snapping up every memory fanboys and fangirls hold dear. First Marvel, then the Muppets and now Star Wars.

The fan community wasn't exactly happy with the last lot of Star Wars films, so the thought of Mickey Mouse and Co taking charge of the Millennium Falcon will resurrect fears of another Jar Jar Binks.

It's the stuff of Halloween nightmares.

TBH, it might actually not be that bad. Marvel = Avenegers etc, right? They did a good job with those. Not like I ever believed anyone would top a star wars feature after kotor 2 and 1.
