The first shot is a revese of the stormtrooper/parade shot from the second trailer, looking out at the collected troops from the leader stage...as opposed to the other way.
You can also see some sort of spider tanks/walkers in the background next to/behind the lined up Tie Fighters.

That is seriously impressive. Devils on the Doorstep is one of the all time great WW2 movies and that dude is amazing.

So something has popped up rumour-wise that has me curious.
We don't know who Max Von Sydow is playing. I've always assumed he was going to be a Sith, possibly Plagueis...but what if he's a good guy?
A bit of the rumours goes that Von Sydow's character is an old junker human with cybernetic implants who Rey's character on Jackku sells shit too. He's lost his marbles and seems like no one. But when Rey shows up (possibly with Finn in tow) with Luke's (or someone elses) lightsaber (possibly Vader's red one?) and shows it to him, he become lucid and begins babbling about the old days.
So...what if he's Kanan Jarrus from REBELS? Von Sydow's age is within a decade of being correct for how old Kanan would be in TFA. What if Kanan lost Ezra to Vader and as a result of that trauma lost his marbles completely (and possibly some limbs; cybernetic implants), and ended up in hiding on a planet full of old junk?
It's certainly a possibility.
So if I have to guess I think Von Sydow is either Plagueis or Kanan. There HAS to be a reason that JJ and Co have kept ALL info about who he's playing from us...it's because we'd recognize him.

Still, I"m curious about Finn's saber...the bottom looks like Anakin's/Luke's...but the top has a bit of hardware above the hilt which Luke's never had.
