All I ate yesterday was vanilla pudding. :) I am hoping to graduate to soup today.

I'm eating water crackers and dip. The dip is basil, lemongrass & cashews. I've eaten a fifth of it and I still can't decide if I like it or not. It tastes....interesting.

Just had:
Braised maple (I was going to use honey but it had solidified) apple cider glazed pork filet with rosemary, thyme and cloves. This delicious piece of meat rested on a bed of cinnamon rice, corn, green beans, red peppers and mushrooms.


Edit: It smells really good in my apartment.

Had steak, which my mom cooked, which was the rarest thing I have ever eaten ever.

It was borderline inedible.

Just had some bakmi, boiled in water with fresh paprika, onions and several other vegetables, some spices i randomly grabbed from my mum's spicerack (Not randomly but i can't be arsed to list the names) and way too much saffron, for which my mum will kill me because that shit is expensive. Holy shit it's 5,500 euro's per kilo, according to Wikipedia.

Anyways, i cooked some fresh salmon to go with the bakmi, and some bearnaise sauce to go with it.

Tastiest breakfast ever.


EDIT: On a side note, i might start a saffron farm in my back yard. Gonna get rich! Posted Image

Me and the ole lady fixed a steak salad for lunch.

Very thin sirlion steak, spiced and seared on both sides and cut into strips.

Lettuce
Tomatoes
Grilled onions
Grilled mushrooms
Sunflower seeds
Croutons
Salt and Pepper
Summer Vinaigerette

Pretty good for a salad.

Veg, salad, chicken, tuna, beans and barest minimum of fast carbs.

on the plus side Ive lost almost 19lbs in 5 weeks.

Seriously, this thread always makes me hungry! I just had two chocolatines (chocolate filled pastry thingies that are sinfully tasty). This isn't the exact one I ate but here's the visual. The irony is that I haven't actually eaten supper yet and now I'm not sure if I will.

to counteract this unusually healthy type meal (so much vegetables), i had a carload of chocolate for dessert :p
