I got it ready to watch at home, and last night I polished off the last two eps of Season 1 which I hadn't seen yet. Great stuff!

I don't have access to the channel that it airs on, but I've been able to keep up via Icefilms.info. The eps are usually available a day or so after they're on TV so if you don't mind watching it on a computer monitor, it's always an option.

Ep 2 tonight (well, tomorrow for me), can't wait!

I'm starting to think AMC is becoming my go-to channel. Just watched episode 1, it was awesome. Falling Skies was great too, when that was on.

I must admit I got a bit bored with the first season, but I watched 2x01 anyway and thought it picked up considerably.

I really enjoyed ep1. Especially that maniac with the crossbow (don't recall his name) thrusting a screw driver into the base of a walkers skull. Quality!!
I'd stick with him. He's the man.

I only watched the last 3 episodes of season 1, but season 2 is very good so far. I may go back and watch season 1 at some point, they're on netflix streaming.

I suspected it, but I said no way, they couldn't possibly.

Does the main character's wife annoy anyone else? I despise her in a Mhybe kind of way.

I kinda hope that they won't find the girl, and I mean that they find nothing at all, just no trace at all.
Screw you all, and have a nice day!

Meh, there are enough other things going on to satisfy me while they hunt for Sophie...unfortunately this season has to move a bit slower since it has 13 episodes instead of 6 like season 1, but overall I'm not minding it. It's still hella tense and better than 90% of stuff on TV right now.

Nah, but Dale and 'i'm the token visible minority dude' guy are getting on my nerves.

Seriously. Find that stuipd girl and move the FUCK on!!! This season is pissing me off with this stall. Its been what, 4-5 epi looking for her so far? The action and zombies in the show are brilliant. That girl is my only gripe as its making the caravan not being able to move(ofcourse Carl cant move anyway but it has been dragged to my limits with her).

It's totally moving slower and while i'm still enjoying it, the reduced pace bothers me a tiny bit. There is so much source material and so many ways to go with it if they don't want to follow the comics too closely that it just seems unnecessary to spend three weeks mostly looking through the woods and angsting. Thankfully there's other stuff going on, and for the most part i'm enjoying the characters, two exceptions aside.

I thought Daryl found something last ep, tho it wasn't clear it was from Sophia...

In contrast to ep 3 with Otis and Shane's Not So Excellent Adventure, ep 4 was slow... i mean yay for Glen (in the well AND at the pharmacy), but the 'big threat' was the thing in the well and it was somewhat silly right through.

I actually think we can expect to see a few dud episodes in this show, since it went to a proper full season episode order (from 6 perfectly amazing episodes in Season 1) as with any other show. FRINGE has dud eps, and especially did in Season 2, but the overall enjoyment comes from the good stuff, which I think we can expect will outweigh the duds...but only time will tell if I am talking out my ass.

Daryl, when searching for Sophia, finds a Cherokee Rose (also the name of the ep) which was a native American sign for children being protected or something. My guess is if she's not found we will discover that she is indeed safe.

This is also a further example of Daryl's changing nature this season...and I think that when Michael Rooker shows back up as Merle (as he is rumored to do this season) he will still be the same angry, belligerent racist he always was and he will find Daryl has begun to change and the two will be at odds for that...my guess.

Just before that he finds a closet that looks like a child has been hiding in it.

I agree we can expect some duds. It's totally a case of the intense S1 approach being watered down, hopefully not too much.
