I for one am fond of the rhizan in the background.
in total it seemed to work out. Thanks to smiles for the
hair colour curveball but kinda works better this
way methinks...

Looking very good Dolmen, don't think hair colour matters as there blonde and blue black in the books. Whatever looks good. :thumbsup:

Really like how the skin glows, got that spectral quality from the descriptions, and great musculature.

Something's wrong with her right palm though, not?
It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood, who strives valiantly; who errs and comes short again and again; because there is not effort without error and shortcomings; but who does actually strive to do the deed; who knows the great enthusiasm, the great devotion, who spends himself in a worthy cause, who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement and who at the worst, if he fails, at least he fails while daring greatly. So that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who know neither victory nor defeat.

was having trouble discerning the fingers from the rest at work. easier now at home. probably a display error.

I dig, Dolmen.

Good finished product. Highlighting works well, muscles look...scary, and the solid black lines that give it a cartoony feel don't really detract from the image at all...especially where you have the skin kind of glowing.

Didn't get the bend over backwards-ness from your original sketch...but you accomplish it very well with this one.

Its not obvious either, which makes it creepier

Like you look at it and realize there's something a bit off....then realize that the abs and ribs are pointing up....and that the arm is twisted around backwards....and that the head has done a complete 180 and then.....GROSS

but cool.

V. nice job on the background too.
